Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realize and accept that there are potential risks involved in all adventure holidays. We go to regions where the standard of accommodation, transport, safety, medical facilities and other infrastructure may be lower than you normally may expect.

You have signed up on your chosen trip with the understanding that you are physically and mentally fit to undertake the activities outlined in the trip itinerary. If you are unable to take part in the activity planned and have to withdraw from the trip then any expenses incurred because of your withdrawal will be at your expense.

On an active group holiday it is imperative that you abide by the authority of the leader to ensure the safety and well being of the group as a whole. The itinerary for the trip is an outline of the aims and goals but may have to be altered to account for changing conditions or events occurring when on the trip. Our trips will always have a degree of flexibility to make the most of any positive opportunity that may arise when on the trip or to avoid any unforeseen danger or threat.

If a group member is deemed disruptive, abusive or to have broken the law during the trip then the leader has the right to remove that person from the trip. This will be the last resort and activated only after opportunities are offered to rectify their behavior or other situation that may have occurred. Any expenses incurred by that person because of their change of circumstance must be paid for by that person.

You must tell us when you book of any medical conditions or disabilities that are relevant to you taking part in your chosen Wild Hikes trip. We will send you a medical form for you to complete and return prior to the trip. All information supplied to Wild Hikes regarding your health will be treated with strict confidence and will be destroyed after the trip.

It is your responsibility to make sure you have a valid passport and satisfy any visa and immigration requirements for the country you will be visiting. If you miss your flight or your flight is cancelled and as a consequence cannot attend the trip, you will forfeit the cost of your trip and be responsible for paying any additional expenses incurred in order to meet up with the group.

You must take out relevant insurance for all our overseas trips. We will ask you for the details of your insurance provider before we travel but will not check what is covered and not covered with in your policy. This is your responsibility. For overseas trips your insurance must cover the following:

  • Medical expenses when in country being visited
  • Cost of repatriation back to your country of residence.
