Whether it’s wild camping in Scotland, exploring the islands of the Hebrides or scrambling along an exposed ridge in Snowdonia we plan our trips carefully and creatively so that they will inspire you, challenge you and give you a real sense of adventure. All our trips are tailored to suit the group’s abilities. From first time hikers and scramblers through to experienced multiday hikers, trail runners and scramblers, all our trips will have that ‘off the beaten track’ feel. Our group sizes are small, this ensures everyone feels included, listened to and part of a team.
All our UK trips are organised on a bespoke basis. Group sizes from one to ten can be catered for. Please contact us to plan your next UK trip

snowdonia hikes and scrambles

Snowdonia has the biggest concentration of hiking and scrambles in the UK.
As well as tackling some of the classic mountain days such as the Snowdon Horseshoe, Tryfan and the Bristly Ridge we can also take you to less popular areas where solitude and adventure is guaranteed. All abilities from beginners to the experienced hiker looking for a challenge can be catered for. Please contact us if you are interested in a Snowdonia trip with Wild Hikes.

Lake District Hikes and Scrambles:

The Lake District has a wonderful concentration of lakes and mountains. The lakes radiate out like the spokes of a wheel from a central point, each valley having its own feel and character. As well as the classic mountain days such as Scafell via the Corridor Route and Helvellyn via Striding Edge we can go to the less popular areas and tackle these mountains and many others via less popular hikes and scrambles. We currently have two weekends scheduled, Sat. 19th to Sun. 20th Sept. 2020 and Sat. 24th to Sun. 25th Oct. 2020 Price per person based on a group of six is £55.00

Here are some of our favourite days out:

Blencathra - via Sharp Edge and descend down Halls Fell Ridge.
The Fairfield Horseshoe – A magnificent high level walk over some high fells.
Helvellyn Horseshoe – via Striding Edge then down Swirral Edge.
Scafell Pike – The highest mountain in England. We ascend this via Ill Crag scramble, the longest in the Lakes.
Coniston Old Man – A fascinating area steeped in industrial history. We will take in a series of short scrambles to ascend ‘The Old Man’.
The Langdale Pikes and Pavey Ark – via Jakes Rake to Pavey Ark over to Harrison Stickle and then a fine
little scramble up Pike O Stickle.
