Lake District Hikes and Scrambles:

The Lake District has a wonderful concentration of lakes and mountains. The lakes radiate out like the spokes of a wheel from a central point, each valley having its own feel and character. As well as the classic mountain days such as Scafell via the Corridor Route and Helvellyn via Striding Edge we can go to the less popular areas and tackle these mountains and many others via less popular hikes and scrambles. We currently have two weekends scheduled, Sat. 19th to Sun. 20th Sept. 2020 and Sat. 24th to Sun. 25th Oct. 2020 Price per person based on a group of six is £55.00

Here are some of our favourite days out:

Blencathra - via Sharp Edge and descend down Halls Fell Ridge.
The Fairfield Horseshoe – A magnificent high level walk over some high fells.
Helvellyn Horseshoe – via Striding Edge then down Swirral Edge.
Scafell Pike – The highest mountain in England. We ascend this via Ill Crag scramble, the longest in the Lakes.
Coniston Old Man – A fascinating area steeped in industrial history. We will take in a series of short scrambles to ascend ‘The Old Man’.
The Langdale Pikes and Pavey Ark – via Jakes Rake to Pavey Ark over to Harrison Stickle and then a fine
little scramble up Pike O Stickle.
